Name: Iva Kay Henderson-Odom CommentHey Gang, just got a call from Phillip Quinn. He will not be able to attend the reunion as he just had C-Spine surgery. He is in Minnesota. I ask him if it was cold there, he said "No, it's above freezing now". Thought that was cute. 50 degrees is cold here. Told him to check out the website and leave his email address.

Name: Ralph Bowler CommentGreetings Class of '66: I waited until the last minute to reply to the reunion notice hoping that some of the commitments we had made prior to receiving the invitation would be cancelled or resheduled so we could attend at least some of the activities. Unfortunatelly, nothing was cancelled and additional things were added. This must be the most popular weekend of the year. I'm sure it will be a great time of remembering. My sweet wife of 33 years (Janie) and I currently live in Waco. I retired from the state several years ago and now have several volunteer jobs (it's amazing how easy it is to get a job when you work for free) and Janie works part time. I've enjoyed reading the comments on this web site, thanks for putting it together. Hope ya'll have a great weekend!!!
Name: Iva Kay CommentI forgot to mention one of my favorite people who will be at the reunion.......Wes Kennedy. And the list continues to grow!!!!!!!!!! Don't change the channel....more updates to come!
Name: Iva Kay Henderson-Odom CommentYeah......just got a call from John Toner and he will be here Saturday night. Anyone else that wants to attend but haven't sent in your reservations....NO PROBLEM....just call me or Beth and we'll put your name down. My numbers are (409) 883-4381 or (409) 745-4403 and Beth's is (409) 883-9595. Stop and think about it....even if I didn't want to attend (except I can hardly wait) I wouldn't pass it up 'cause they might gossip about me...so, you better show up and take your name out of the gossip hat, ha ha!!!!!! 4 1/2 DAYs...can you believe it? Name: Chuck Dean CommentGood news! After doing detective work comparable to Sherlock Holmes, I got in touch with Jane Siddon just last week. She is now Jane Siddon Graves, and she and her husband Louie own the Nashville Leader newspaper in Nashville, Ark. Bad news is they can't make it this year, but she and Louie will try to make the next one. She wants to know about everybody; her website is: www.nashvilleleader.com. I called her cell and she was shopping, and we talked while she pushed the cart around. She sounds like the same old Janie, it was great. I am really looking forward to seeing all you guys next weekend. Name: Sandra Sexton Baker CommentI had dig, but I found two annuals, '65 and '66. So glad I looked before I came to the reunion. Forty years seems like a long time, but looking through those pages it seems like only yesterday. Can't wait to see you all. The web site is great Iva Kay...

Name: Iva Kay Odom CommentIf you haven't made your reservations but would like to attend the reunion just give Beth a call at 409-883-9595 or me a call at 409-883-4381 or 409-745-4403. Beth will add your name and you can pay when you get here. We just need a count. YIKES, JUST 11 DAYS!!!!!!!!!! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED. I wonder if I can lose 30 pounds in 11 days!!??
Name: Nancy Rearick Nameroff CommentIva Kay, I just saw your message. I'll call you tomm. Howdy to all of you. I'm still taking names on late sign-ups for name tags. Just let me know by email. Also if you did not have your picture in the annual, please send that alone to me. Otherwise, I'll just put your name on the tag. Not long to wait now, so let's try to get more classmates to attend the reunion. This is soooo exciting!
Name: Charles Scott CommentBeth, Have not received confirmation that you received my check. Please let me know. Thank you.
Name: Iva Kay Odom CommentIf any of you paid your Reunion fees via pay-pal, please give me a call at (409) 883-4381 ASAP. There was a problem with that account. Call me between 9 a.m. and 12 Noon and 1:15 p.m. and 5 p.m. or after 6 p.m. call me at (409) 745-4403. Thanks. Look forward to seeing everyone. Name: Larry Marshall CommentBeth Mathews, I have not received a confirmation on my reservations. Thank you
Name: Mary (Corbello) Stanton CommentFor those who may be interested, I think the YMBL is sponsoring the fair at Ford Park in Beaumont the weekend of the reunion. Boudain balls and alligator on a stick may be somethings that your spouses might try if they aren't originally from the area! Name: Duane Force CommentI found some guidance for those of you who after 40 years are still lacking some basic social skills. According to the experts, here are a few things not to say at a high school reunion: 1. Hey, are there any swingers in the house? 2. Wow, someone said you lost all that weight. 3. Didn't you drive a car just like that in high school? (I'll bet L.J. Schrieber still drives a Chevy Nova.) 4. What's that in you ear? IN YOU EAR, WHAT IS IT? 5. I was only accused of that, not convicted. 6. Are those real? 7. Are you still an ___hole? and the worst thing you could say to someone is something like: 8.Hey, weren't you my algebra teacher? Cheers. See you all soon. Name: Gaynelle Hardwick CommentI cannot believe how many of us have lost our yearbooks in the last 40 years. I though that I was the only one. Mine all got accidentally given away to "Goodwill" in Massachusetts. Yes, there is a story behind that! Hey Tim, We need one of those computerized photo age progression programs to help us recognize each other. It should be interesting. What has happened to all of our other graduates that are not listed? I thought that we graduated 243. Surely more of us have email addresses. Well, maybe they are all thinking about all of us anyway and there is power in the thought. This website is great and a big "Thank you" to everyone that has helped with the organization of the site and the reunion events. See ya'll soon - Gaynelle Hardwick Name: Tim Hoke CommentHowdy y’all! I just got off the phone with Hunter, whom I’ve not seen in well over 30 years! He said he’s trying to get his ducks in a row so that he can make the reunion. I should know if he’s coming sometime next week. However, although he appreciates the sweet thought, Hunter emphatically stated that he would prefer we not do a fund raiser. So, I think we should honor his wishes. On another note, since I’ve not seen most of y’all in forty years and can’t remember what happened last week, much less four decades ago, this whole reunion thing is a little daunting. I showed my wife our online annual pictures (I lost my annuals in one of our moves) and she did not recognize me at all! This should be most interesting, especially for those of us who have been out of pocket for so long. Tim Name: Shada/Cheryl Crew CommentDo the fund raiser. Maybe that's why this reunion happened when it did, not just because all of us went to school and graduated 40 years ago, but because a fellow classmate had a future need back then, that all of us could help fulfill now.
Name: carol sue barbee CommentWell, Hunter had promised to call me back in a day or two and let me know for sure if he and Sheila were coming. I've heard nothing from him, so I'm kind of up in the air what to do at this point. Got an email from Tim today and he said he might give him another call. I don't want to be intrusive but sure would like to see him. Nancy, Tim says he's coming unless something happens at the last minute with his church. Can anyone believe that Tim Hoke is a minister .. certainly, not me! Suzanne, Jan (my little sister and date) and I are going to be staying at the Holiday Inn Express - Corney might stay with us on Saturday night .. so please stop by and see us if you're staying there too! As far as the Fund Raiser for Down's - I really don't know what to do at this point - any ideas would be very much welcomed. Maybe, we just ought to do it anyway and send the money????I personally think we ought to have a marching band parade through the old high school grounds on Saturday just to shake up all those old memories lingering around there!! I can't wait to see ya'll - I'm curious though - what's going on with Don Shellenberger - every female I know is receiving and writing emails from/to him except me ...even one or two not from our class! I certainly wouldn't want to be out the loop here - Don is there something I'm missing here ... carol sue
Name: Iva Kay Odom CommentHey Gang...only 16 days left. I can hardly wait...even though I am probably the ONLY one that hasn't changed a bit since 1966. Well, I sort of look the same...there's just lots more of me, ha ha. Just think..we only have to go to bed 15 more times before we get to see one another. And Don, just so you know, I am not the one that hit the submit button on the two blank entries below....or, at least I don't think I did. Name: Comment

Name: Iva Kay Odom CommentNancy "Rearick" Nameroff Please call me at (409) 883-4381 after 1:30 Orange time. My "high speed satellite internet" was down this morning and I couldn't answer your email. Iva Kay
Name: Nancy "Rearick" Nameroff CommentHi Gals and Guys: I am making name tags for the reunion (so far 52) and would appreciate it if anyone signing up late, or who do not have a picture in the annual, would contact me by email and let me know you are coming/or, send me one of you "old" pictures. Unless you are like me and have not changed at ALL in the last 40 years (Um----), your classmates may be able to recognize your high school picture and know who you actually are. Thanks
Name: Iva Kay Odom CommentHey Chuck, It's informal. Looking forward to seeing everyone
Name: Chuck Scott CommentIs the buffet on Saturday night formal or informal????
Name: Iva Kay Odom CommentRALF MIMS THAT CREATED THIS WEBSITE AND ALSO THE ONE THAT WILL MAKE COPIES OF THE WEBSITE FOR US TO KEEP JUST CALLED ME...HE WAS READING ABOUT HUNTER PERSAC AND THE DOWN SYNDROME BENEFIT....SO HE SAID FOR EVERY WEBSITE CD THAT IS ORDERED HE WILL DONATE $5 OF THE $20 TO THE DOWN SYNDROME ASSOCIATION. HE WILL JUST NEED TO KNOW WHICH CHAPTER THAT HUNTER WANTS IT SENT TO AND THE ADDRESS.
Name: Iva Kay Odom CommentDon, if you will just wait a few minutes before going to the next message I'm sure, "AT YOUR AGE", it will be like reading a totally new message. Actually, I don't know how that happened. I'll call Ralf and get him to take some of them off. Regarding Carol Sue's note....I think that is an awesome idea. We could plan on having a link sale during the day Saturday in the parking lot of the shopping center. We can cook and sell links (along with a bag of chips & a drink), while we all sit around and visit and do so for a worthy cause. O.K. DON....I AM ONLY GOING TO HIT SUBMIT ONCE!!!!! I'M OLD TOO....SHOW ME SOME LOVE!!!!! O.K., LET'S SEE, NOW HERE IS THAT SUBMIT BUTTON. AHHHHH, THERE IT IS! Name: carol sue barbee CommentI just got off the phone with Hunter Persac. Tim Hoke and L.J. Schrieber tracked him down in MS. I called him and he has a two year grandson with Downs Syndrome that he and his wife, Sheila, are raising. They already had plans that weekend to go to a fundraiser for Downs. I promised him that if he and Sheila would come to the reunion, we would make it a fundraiser for Downs! Soooo, if everyone is up for this ... I thought instead of the swamp ride and museum .. we could all meet in front of the old high school at noon on Saturday and just donate some dollars. If our wonderful band members could bring their instruments and play "Dixie" for us, perhaps other people in the great community of Orange might stop by and also donate a dollar or two. I've asked Peggy to find out if we need a permit. Her wonderful son, Lannie, is with the Orange Police Department, so hopefully, if we all get arrested - he can bail us out! I just thought how wonderful it would be to combine our reunion with a worthy cause at the same time. I'd really like to do a parade of our whole class marching down Green Avenue but I'm sure it would cost Orange more than we could make. If anyone has a better idea just let me know .... otherwise, bring some dollars and let's meet in front the old high school at noon on Saturday and hopefully, all our band members will be able to play "Dixie" for us!! Name: Don Shellenberger CommentOK, Iva Kay. We get your point!! You know, as we get older we sometimes have these reflex reactions---I think they're called spazms---so we all understand you just couldn't make your finger stop hitting the "Submit" button. You know I'm kidding... Name: Iva Kay Odom CommentThis website will be available thru December. Ralf can make copies of the website...they will be $20 and he will have them ready for pickup at the reunion. If you can't make the reunion but want one, simply include your mailing address along with your payment. Please make checks payable to Ralf Mims and mail to: Ralf Mims c/o Iva Kay Odom P.O. Box 268 Mauriceville, Texas 77626 P.S. If you lost your senior annual as I did, you can no longer purchase one. I contacted the school and was told that they are no longer available. Also, they would have been $20 if you could get one. Name: Pat (Miller) Schriver CommentAm I impressed with this Website!?! It's AWESOME!! I had no idea so many people were even thinking of doing a Reunion 'til I found Sarah Beth in Cody, WY in June! Just found my E-Mail address yesterday - it's a long story - think of the movie "RV"! I did just purchase my airline ticket and will mail my check (a day late) to Beth tomorrow. Will be so glad to see everyone. Jerry will stay home with Elizabeth - I'll bring pictures! Thanks for all the work!!
Name: Robbie L. Bates CommentWow, what an agenda. Unfortunately my wife and I will not be able to attend. Thanks for keeping up with me. Robbie
Name: Joel Robins CommentJust sending in my check and registration via mail this morning, September 19. Signing up for everything and looking forward to seeing everyone.

Please let me know how to keep this website after the reunion is over for this year. Thank You, Betty
Name: Carol Sue Barbee CommentWell, Peggy is probably going to kill me but I wanted everyone to know that her precious little Mother, got struck by a car while going out to get her mail! She's been in ICU - had two brain hemmorages, a broken collar bone plus what you look like when you hit the cement and you're 88 yrs old. She finally came to yesterday but you can imagine the confusion that the trauma of a hard head injury brings with it. I know her whole family thanks you for the prayers from all of you who we still are in contact with. Mrs. Stringer - if you haven't seen her in a million years is still the most beautiful woman you ever wanted to see - petite, with skin to die for, more fun than a barrel of monkeys, she's the wonder of all wonders!! Her house was hit hard by Hurricane Rita - just moved back in, lives alone and continues to drive. If you saw her - well, my Mom is 79 and people ask me all the time if we're sisters!! It's kind of disgusting that these two women could still look so wonderful and me and Peggy are just hanging on by our nail beds!! I guess maybe the water in Orange wasn't so bad after all!! Just wanted to give everyone an update - hopefully, our YaYa Mama will be home soon and back to her wonderful, beautiful self again! Name: Iva Kay Odom CommentCheryl....in reference to the names you mentioned...almost all of their pictures are under "The Seniors" and some of their email addresses are listed under the "View Classmate List". If their name doesn't appear it is because we are waiting to hear from them for a good address or an email address. Also, under "The Seniors", if you go to the last page that is where you will find some pictures of classmates that either their picture was left out of our senior annual or they did not graduate with us. Iva Kay
Name: Iva Kay Odom CommentMore sad news...Denny Carl Smith's wife, Darlene, passed away last week. He doesn't have email, but, if anyone would like to call and extend your condolences, his phone number is (409) 883-9096.
Name: Shada (Cheryl Crew) Johnson CommentCharlotte, actually I have a copy of our graduation exercise ceremony program (thanks to my mother's memorablia file). There are 235 graduates listed; three were mid-term graduates, John Duke, Jimmy Huff, And Coleen Smith. Okay, so I had the program, but I still remember each and everyone and wonder where they are today and how life has been for them. I remember those days. I remember them so clearly.
Name: Skipper Nantz CommentWell first things first, I want to thank any one of you that server in our great military! My oldest son is in Iraq for the second time now. He just got back over there about 2 weeks ago and is with the special forces (Green Beret for the ones that don't know)with the 5Th group. I can't wait to see more of you that I have not been re-acquainted with. 40 Years huh? Dame we are getting to what I use to think was old, LOL! Anyone want to go fishing? Shoot me an email. I have really enjoyed getting back in touch with some of you and Beth since we got back in touch about 10 years ago it has been so wonderful getting to know you even better than in high school. Name: Peggy Claybar CommentOkay Alan, After Carol Sue laughed and told me about reading your email to the site............I reread it and realized what you meant!! Now I understand that you thought David and I had the cafe and that is why the girl looked at you so funny about the classmate comment. Okay you know I wasn't in the top 10%....it takes me a while. Anyway, I still say you were looking much younger than most of us.
Name: Mervin Ozan CommentWas pleased to receive card concerning pending activities. A lot of memories while reading names of former classmates. Not sure of my schedule on dates provided. Would love to see all and share memories. Thanks for your efforts in making contact.
Name: Beth Campbell Mathews CommentGreetings! You should be receiving a letter from me shortly which will outline the events for our reunion weekend. Please fill in a time on the boat trip and museum tour that you prefer. If already registered, no need to re-register, but let me know about boat and museum, please. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Let Iva Kay or me know of any songs you want to hear. We'll tell Jim. Thanks, Beth
Name: Sarah Boehme CommentHello Classmates from 1966, I am looking forward to the reunion and to moving back to Orange. Some of you have already heard this, since I emailed my news to a list, but probably everybody is not on that list, so I will repeat it. I am moving back to Orange in September to become Director of the Stark Museum of Art, after twenty years in Wyoming where I was curator of western art at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. I am very excited about the possibilities at the Stark Museum. I will start work on September 18 and there will be a public reception at the museum on September 21 from 4 to 6 pm to introduce me to the community. Any of you in Orange at that time, I would enjoy seeing you if you have a moment to stop by. During our reunion weekend, I will probably do a director's tour of the museum for those who might be interested in a guided visit. I look forward to seeing you, Sarah Beth Boehme Name: james mires CommentHello fellow classmates sorry I haven't responded sooner but my cpu has been ailing, unlike many I live in Orange and do not have a great distance to travel, so I will certainly be attending the reunion festivities. I hope to see ya'll there. james
Name: Steve Gilbert CommentIva Kay it was great talking with you,Dito on web site.Look forward to seeing everyone. Its been fun reading comments.Give me a call 1-800-289-2155 ext.128,would like to hear from some of you.
Name: Jim (Jimmy "Doc" ) Brown CommentI just got my postcard this week- had no idea anything was planned. I hope to make it for Sat. night. I am still a pharmacist in Spring (Houston)- I'll try to remember and bring a role of tape just in case Joey or Steve Bruce need an ankle wrap before the dance. Thanks for all the hard work and the web site comments.
Name: Peggy Claybar CommentMy mother called me about Ann earlier today. Like I told others by email. I had only seen Ann three or four times over the past twenty years, but when I did, everyone of them was memorable. She was a comic genius and I know a fantastic mother and wife. I will miss not knowing she is alive and making someone smile somewhere. I know she has got them laughing in heaven, telling them all stories about her old friends and her family. She will be missed.
Name: Tanya Walker Goldbeck CommentTo friends of the Class of 1967: I just got word that Anne Simmons Heifetz passed away this morning. She had many close friends in your class and I wanted them to be informed. I don't know details as I just got word. She died from a very short term with cancer.
Name: Peggy S. Claybar CommentAlan, Thank you for the nice comment about our son David. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful sons and the fact that they both decided to stay in Orange is such a blessing for us. We will be glad to see you and all the others at the reunion. PS....you probably look younger than us and that's why she didn't think you graduated with us. The last time I saw you, you looked about ten years younger than the rest of us !!!
Name: Jimmy Owens CommentHello to all of you in the class of 1966. We all had a great time at our 41st, thanks to miss rita. I hope you all have just half the fun we did at ours. It was nice to see some of your 1966 class at ours. I might come to your just to see some of the guys Johnny and I played sports with. This website is so great. I see some of the names in here I would like to see and talk to again. I am trying to get my brother to go , he is still up in the air about going. Well if I don't go I hope all of you have a great time as we did at ours. Iva email me if you have time, thanks Jimmy
Name: Jerry Shrode CommentYou guys have got to be kidding...no way it's been 40 years since we graduated HS...Ok, somedays it feels like much more than 40, but the fond memories of Orange and growing up during that time will never fade away. I'm working on my schedule to make sure I can attend the reunion, but can't commit just yet. The job that everyone has done on the reunion and the website is fabulous. From a former Tiger, sincerest Thanks...
Name: Nancy Lou "Rearick" Nameroff CommentFirst of all, does anyone have Patty Nan Sears email address they can send to me? She wrote me but forgot to give me her email address. And DUH, I erased it before I remembered that I could use the "reply" button...... I heartedly agree with Don in what he said about not being mature enough to expand our resources of friends in high school. I had a lot of acquaintances that I would have liked to have known better and been friends with. Hopefully, I can rectify this during our reunion. I am going to try and make the name tags for the reunion long distance, so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. Iva Kay, I need the disc! Name: Charles Scott CommentChuck Dean, Thanks.....I look forward to seeing the 1966 classmates in Oct. Take care and God bless
Name: Don Shellenberger CommentI've really enjoyed checking this website every day or so just to see who's responding and what they're saying. As someone who's made no effort whatsoever to keep up with old friends, it's really been a reminder of how important old relationships can be. Years ago---probably close to 40, actually---my father and I were in Missouri for his Dad's funeral. While there, he took me to a cafe where their was a waitress who was apparently an old girl friend from high school. They visited and remembered "good old times", and when we left I could see that Dad was really glad to have visited with an old friend. So I look forward to seeing "old friends"---but it's hard not to regret the fact that so many of us didn't make "friends" with everyone---just wish we had been mature enough to put aside "social stuff" so we could take advantage of the breadth of experience and interaction that was available to us through relationships with all of our classmates rather than the few we chose to "hang with"! Well, that was then, and this is now. What a great time to make up for what many of us might have missed! Name: Chuck Dean CommentCharles Scott, I remember you and wondered where you went. Thanks for the service in Nam. This country has never said thank you enough, so belated thanks. Look forward to seeing you.
Name: Iva Kay Henderson-Odom CommentIf there are any particular songs that you would like to hear during the Saturday night dance at the Country Club, please email me or Beth Campbell-Mathews your list so we can give it to the D.J. How 'bout "The Fabulous Boogie Kings" for starters?

Name: Larry(chopper)Marshall CommentTo be like old times we need, JIM'S and ZACK' driven's back. Cruse McAuthur circle and have a 105 car drag race through town.Or just remember how we used to fill, sitting in our cars an watching our classmates drive by racing there engine's to invite us to race them. Ronnie Swiderski with his 1956 chevy, and then his corvair,he wanted to by the Hemi from my1956 Desoto to build a drag car. I just love this web-siteit brings back so many memberies of friends, goodtimes, and youth, and the greatest deaide to have grown up in.
Name: Cheryl "Shada" Crew Johnson CommentNothing "spastic" about this site. (Remember that word? Spastic. I think most of us used it excessively in 9th grade.) Good, warm nostalgia abounds! so encouraging to our need to reunite. After forty years of going our separate ways, Dixie sounds and our hearts perk to alert to stand side by side once again. Some to re-capture the spirit of those days gone by, others to shout their laurels by and by, and still, some just to be side by side in this day forty years gone by feeling the wholeness of our common denominator---we are Lutcher Stark High School's class of 1966. Tigers, that we are, we roar. Grrrrrrrrrrr
Name: Lannie Claybar CommentJust wanted to say I'm getting a real kick from reading all these emails. The entire site is just great! My parents David and Peggy speak of their Stark days fondly and often. By the way, that Orange jingle in the "Where To Say" section is great! How can I get that file????
Name: Charles R. Scott CommentThis web-site is a blessing and to those who time to do this I send my thanks and prayers. I do not know if anyone remembers me Charles Scott because I left in Nov. 1966 for Vietnam and never returned to Orange. Today, Im a retire cop and working in the security field in Shreveport, La. Just came back to work after a triple bypass surgery which caught me by surprise since I did not even know I had a problem. But it was nice to see the yearbook although I hated about the ones that have gone on to be with the God. I hope everyone who reads this will have a blessed day.
Name: Chuck Dean CommentHi y'all: Getting closer to the reunion, and I can hardlyl wait. Nancy, I remember you with good memories, and I'm glad you're in. Ivakay, thanks for taking up for me with that bad Don Shellenberger. Of course, I will buy you lunch. You know, speaking of bad influences, it was actually Don who played that role. Why many's the time I would be leaving the library, walking to evening prayers to seek guidance on which charity to work for on the 'morrow, and Don would show up in his mother's hot car, and, well, a new mission would begin. Mary Margaret and I got a real treat Saturday night when Phillip and Lorretta came to Galveston and we ate seafood. They are STILL a great-looking couple, as always, and we had a lot of fun. I really enjoyed hanging with them, they are an inspiration.
Name: Alan Raynor CommentI had occasion to be in Beaumont on business several months ago and decided to visit the old home town. Having read that the Old Orange Cafe was owned by David Claybar, I decided to try it. After a wonderful lunch I asked my young waitress if, in fact, the Cafe was owned by David Claybar. She said that it was and I told her that I would love to see him if he were there as we were classmates growing up. After looking at me for a very short time, for some reason, she responded that although he was there she didn't think we were classmates. David and Peggy have a very charming son and it was a pleasure to visit with him. Name: Nancy Rearick CommentPhillip: Thanks for the input. You know the old saying about getting old, "the first thing to go is your mind"......Well, I sometimes think my mind has got up and gone....... I see so many friends I can now write to, thanks to the list of names and addresses listed under "The Seniors" of our '66 class. nancycajun2@comcast.net Name: Nancy Rearick (Nameroff) CommentHello Everyone: It is now official. I have my reservations and $ sent to Iva Kay. It has been so long since I have been back to Orange! I am very excited about the reunion and seeing my classmates. Is there a list I can access of people attending the reunion? I would really appreciate hearing from any of you by email. I have so many questions to ask. It is wonderful how hard the planning committee is working to pull this all together. Thanks Ladies for your time and effort. Do any of you still remember me?
Name: G. Wayne Hardy (class of '55) CommentGreat web site...wish we had one like this. I guess we're all to old now to get one together. Just wondered in and this site is fun even if I only know about 2 or 3 names of the folks.
Name: John B. Toner CommentThe web site is really nice, whomever put it together did a great job. I look forward to making the reunion. Do any of you old men play golf?
Name: Janie Burns Wallace, Class of '64 CommentThis is a wonderful website! Love hearing that Dixie. I know you all will have a great time as we did at our 40th reunion. Name: Iva Kay Henderson-Odom CommentIn regards to Don Shellenberger's comment...I am starting to think that maybe we have contacted the wrong Don Shellenber. Did he refer to himself as being innocent or somthing of that nature? Good God, we have contacted the wrong Don. ha ha Just joking! I can't imagine that sweet Chuck could be a bad influence on anyone. (Had to throw that in so he'll buy my lunch at the Phoenix the next time I'm in Galveston!!!!!!!!!!!) Hey Chuck, I love you...will that snag me a lunch?
Name: Larry Marshall CommentDo anyone remember me, I hung out with Archie and V.L. Grimes,Tommy Music,Charles Scott,Henry Burns,Slyvia Faif,Frank Shepard,Jaunita Sonnier. I drove a yellow and white 1956 Desoto, Some people call me "CHOPPER MARSHALL"

I ran into Thelma (Day) Ellis today and she told me about the website - she was right in saying it is wonderful. I have gone through it 3 times this morning. Let me hear from you all! Name: Teresa HAYES Pierce CommentI just wanted to say a big "Thank You" from my family to those of you that remembered my brother, Milton Hayes, and included him in the Memoriam. Even though I was the baby sister (Class of '70), I still remember so many of you. This is a great website...one you should all be really proud of!!! Also, if anyone would like to ask about Milton, his life and his family (4 kids and 7 grandkids with one one on the way), please feel free to email me. I would love to hear from you (that includes you, Carol Sue). Once again...Thank You!
Name: Duane Force CommentI don't recall ever having met Ralf Mims, but he must be a great guy to have spent the time in getting this website up and running. Thanks a bunch to him, Iva Kay, Beth, and the other organizers. I have yet to have made a reunion, but I really hope to make this one. In the meantime, I would love to hear from you all out there.
Name: Don Shellenberger CommentIva Kay, I've already told you how great the website is, but it's good to be able to say it to everyone else. I've really enjoyed sparring back and forth with several of you since Iva Kay and the committee began communicating. Just like everyone else, I'll be anxious to visit with all our classmates in October. I must warn everyone, however; you might want to stay clear of Chuck Dean. He's been a very bad influence on me lately! And I used to be such an innocent, nice guy. (I'm sure I'll get a response on that...)
Name: Nancy Lou Rearick Nameroff CommentJust wanted to compliment everyone who had anything to do with making the reunion web site. It is great. Please add Rosalee Killen to the Memoriam. She passed over 20 years ago and was a dear friend of mine. Do you have a site where I can see who is attending the reunion? I will be there and am very excited to see everyone. In the meantime, if any of my friends see this, please write to me. I would love to hear from you.
Name: Nancy Lou Rearick CommentHello Everyone: I just signed up to attend the reunion and want to say how excited I am. I am looking forward to seeing all of you there. In the meantime, I would love to hear from any of you. I live outside of Olympia, Wa. and am coming a long way for the reunion. Let US start catching up on "old times" now since I am only going to be in your "neck of the woods" for a couple of days, during the reunion.

Reading the comments from everyone does bring back fond memories of days gone by. Our class of 1966 came into this world at a wonderful time and we are so fortunate to have lived in Orange,Texas and had each other as classmates. I too think of what fun we had in school. I still remember Our Senior Trip and that group of us that sneaked back on the bus during lunch and drank Coon-Dog Punch. Who else was part of that? Pat Small for sure and I believe Mike Winter was part of that as well. We ALMOST got Caught !! Iva Kay and the rest of you all that made this site possible, Thanks Bunches !! Name: Bette Woodward Turner CommentWhat a fabulous website! Thank you to Iva Kay and Ralf for getting this going. What a great time we had in high school...thinking about Orange and Stark High always takes me to a "happy place," except for those memories of having to run extra laps in PE for talking to Cornelia. Could this be the reason that I never became a jogger?? I can't wait to see everyone!!

David and I have been fortunate enough to be married for thirty eight of those forty years. It is almost impossible to imagine the time that has gone by. We are so grateful to have remained here and raised our sons in this wonderful town. They went away to college, came home and established themselves. One has married a wonderful home town girl and is a City of Orange Police Officer. The other is a chef and owns the Old Orange Cafe. Will be glad to see you all come back home.
